Monaco Grand Prix 2024 Results: Sergio Perez Wins, Hamilton Crashes
Perez Takes the Victory in Monaco
Sergio Perez of Red Bull Racing took the victory at the 2024 Monaco Grand Prix, holding off a late challenge from Ferrari's Charles Leclerc. Perez started the race from pole position and led every lap, but Leclerc closed the gap in the closing stages. However, Perez was able to hold on for the win, giving Red Bull its first victory of the 2024 season.
Hamilton Crashes Out
Lewis Hamilton of Mercedes had a disappointing race, crashing out on lap 28 after colliding with George Russell. Hamilton had started the race in second place, but he was unable to keep pace with Perez. Russell was also forced to retire from the race, giving Red Bull a 1-2 finish.
